Spain - Spanish Copa del Rey

The Spanish national Cup is called the Copa del Rey (the king's Cup). The official name is Campeonato de España – Copa de Su Majestad el Rey de Fútbol. The Copa del Rey is not only meant for clubs in the Primera Division and Segunda Division, but also for clubs of lower divisions, such that 83 teams are competing in 2012/2013. However the winner usually comes from the Primera Division with Barcelona having won 26 times since the founding of the Copa del Rey in 1903. Barca is also the most recent winner of the Copa del Rey (0-3 against Atletic de Bilbao), which was broadcast by live streaming. As FC Barcelona placed for the Champions League, Bilbao received a place for the Europa League. Both Barcelona and Bilbao will play matches that have a free football live stream on this site.

It was no surprise Barca faced Bilbao in the final of the Copa del Rey as the latter have won this cup 23 times and they trail Barca by just three cups. Other notable winners of the Copa del Rey are Real Madrid (9 times; 2011), Valencia CF (9 times; 2008), Real Zaragoza (6 times; 2004), Sevilla (5 times; 2010) and Atletico Madrid (1996). The teams from the Primera Division join the competition of the Copa del Rey in later stages as their schedule is already packed with matches and they would have qualified for the later rounds anyway. From that point, top clubs like Barca Real will make their appearance in the Copa del Rey, and the matches in which Barca Real play will have a live stream that is free and withour advertiorals on this site. The schedule of the Copa del Rey is also published here so you can easily check when Barca Real Valencia are playing in the Copa or in the Primera Division.

The final is usually played in either Estadio Bernabeu, home of Real Madrid, Camp Nou, home of Barca, Mestalla, home of Valencia CF or Vicente Calderon, home of Atletico Madrid and with a capacity of 54,960 host of the most recent edition of the Copa del Rey between FC Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao which of course was broadcast in a free football live stream. The winner of the Copa not only plays in the Europe League the next year, they also kick of the new season against the winner of the Primera Division. So it happened that Barca Real played against eachother in the first two El Clasico's of 2012/2013. Real won the Supercopa, so for the next two Barca Real live matches Barca will be pumped to win from their rivals.
