Although Barca Real are the most successful clubs from Spain, Valencia has a record that would not be bad for any other European top club. Although Valencia is the club of oranges, reflected in the clubs crest, the home colours are white shirts with black shorts. The away kit is all blue. Only the third, altnernative colours are yellow and red, the same coloured stripes as in the clubs' crest. Valencia CF play in the famous Mestalla stadium which holds a capacity of over 55,000 seats. The club is currently trained by Ernesto Valverde, a former Spanish live football player, who played for Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao. Chairman of Valencia C.F. Is Manuel Llorente. With Barca and Real also playing in La Liga, it would seem like Valencia C.F. Or any other Spanish club would almost never win a major prize.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Valencia C.F. Is a successful club, having won La Liga six times, twice in this millenium (2002, 2004). The Copa del Rey, the national Spanish cup, was won seven times, the last one being in 2008. On an international level, Valencia C.F. Has also won sever major prizes. Both the UEFA Cup as the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup were won once, in 2004 and 1980 respectively. In The Champions League Valencia C.F. Were the runners-up twice during the glory years of Valencia C.F., consecutively in 2000 and 2001. Notable former players from Valencia C.F. Are Mario Kempes, David Villa and Gaizka Mendieta, who played for Valencia C.F. From 1993 till 2001. in the current Valencia C.F. Squad notable players are David Albelda, Roberto Soldado and Ricardo Costa.

Obviously the largest rivalry of Spain is El Clasico between Barca Real. However the third club of Spain, Valencia C.F. That is, does not have a rivalry with either of these two football giants. Their rivalries are more locally or city bound. As it happens, Valencia C.F. Has a rivalry with fellow city club Levante UD, who also play in La Liga. Other rivalries exist with clubs from the region of Valencia, namely Hercules CF (from Alicante) and Villarreal (from Vila-real). You can watch all of these derbies with Valencia C.F.
